CITCO in tandem with Tourism Department, for promotion of Eco-Tourism in Chandigarh, a new tourism initiative has been taken by CITCO in association with Forest Department, Chandigarh by promoting tours to Kansal & Nepli Forests.  Adventure tourism exposure is imparted to tourists to enjoy the bounties of nature through trekking at the ‘Nature Trails’ ranging from 2 ½ kms. to 8 kms. 

Recreational & Cultural programmes are arranged at the Forest Sanctuaries during the eco-tour.  Tourists are also provided facilities to play Tourism Tambola, Carom board & Chess. 

Special packages are available for normal public/ tourists & children and also for the corporate clientele to visit the two forests sanctuaries: Nepli & Kansal Forests of Chandigarh with all logistic support from CITCO including  food and other eatable items at package rate of Rs. 250/- and Rs. 500/- per person.
