CITY OPENS UP GOLF COURSES FOR TOURISTS
 With a view to integrate golf with tourism activities, CITCO launched golf tourism at a function at Hotel Mountview on 05.08.09. Chandigarh, which has emerged as a symbol of the modern India, has a vast potential to emerge as a golf destination. The city has two golf clubs apart from two golf courses in Panchkula and Chandi Mandir. With the Launch of the Golf Tourism, Toursts can now enjoy all golfing facilities by staying in any of the two prime Hotel Properties of CITCO i.e. Hotel Mountview, Sector 10, Chandigarh and Hotel Shivalikview, Sector 17, Chandigarh by just paying the normal hotel tariff. The package includes complementary visit to Chandigarh from Delhi by Shatabdi Ex-press (economy class)/Luxury Bus (Volvo). Complimentary pick up/dropping at Chandigarh Railway Station, complimentary local conveyance from hotel to golf club and back, green fee charges shall also be paid to the golf club by hotel. Golf packages have been made more attractive whereby even if the tourists travel by taxi or through a luxury coach equivalent fare shall be made reimbursed to the tourist by availing any weekday or weekend packages at these two CITCO hotels. In addition, at Hotel Parkview, special packages have been planned for students who want to learn and play the game of Golf. Arrangements for training and other facilities shall be arranged by CITCO.
